Nothing can quite replace the glorious memories of that one fateful day in school when we were allowed to wear hats. The whole rest of the year, the “hat” was nothing more than the head covering of the juvenile delinquent. But for that ONE DAY, the schoolchildren were all allowed to wear our backwards Charlotte Hornets ballcap that, for some reason, we all had in 1993.

But as much as we cannot recreate that unbridled joy of childhood, and though we might spend the rest of our lives in that futile pursuit, what we CAN do is Hat Day Improv! We will be allowing our performers, who themselves haven’t matured a day since 1993, to wear their favorite hats, and we want YOU to, as well! Enjoy an evening of live comedy in the form of shortform improv games, like the ones you might see on Whose Line, performed by local comedians - all wearing hats!
