February 2024 Fundraiser
February is the birth month of Improv Cape Cod founder & director Maxie Davidson! She has expressed interest in only one type of birthday gift this year.
While we have already started our 2024 season, Improv Cape Cod is looking to EXPLODE this year! As much as we all like to think we are the greatest improv & sketch performers of all time, unfortunately Improv Cape Cod is merely a labor of love for all of us. However - there are still myriad expenses with labors of love! Things like entertainment licenses (which we have to get for each show), website maintenance fees, marketing fees, annual business housekeeping stuff, costumes & props for scripted shows, and much more aren’t free.
If you’re able to spare anything at all to go towards uplifting Improv Cape Cod for 2024, to say we would “appreciate it” is a MASSIVE understatement. We couldn’t have gotten to where we are without the support of you all, and we recognize that we’re shamelessly asking for even more. But everyone in the troupe believes in what we do, and we spend a tremendous amount of time working on growing as performers, writers, and directors, in order to put out the best product on stage that we can possibly manage. And - alas - the cost of doing all of this for a tiny theatre operation certainly does not get cheaper over time!
Improv Cape Cod is not a non-profit enterprise, so any donations - while greatly appreciated - would not be tax deductible. However, 100% of all proceeds & revenue for show tickets and donations alike go towards keeping Improv Cape Cod going.
If you’re friends with Maxie and were wondering what to get her for her birthday this year, or if you just want to help support Improv Cape Cod despite considering Maxie your mortal enemy; either of these scenarios are absolutely fine by Maxie if you’ve chosen to support us this year!
