Once upon a time there was a social media manager for a small, local improv troupe tasked with coming up with themes for the November improv shows. He was merrily skimming the internet, looking for things that might resonate - when suddenly, he remembered - November is National Novel Writing Month.

In an instant, his whole world changed, and the theme was decided.

It’s finally time to lower the volume on that Alice Cooper track you’ve had blasting ever since June, because - alas for kids - it is about time to get back to school. Now, while we here at Improv Cape Cod don’t usually get a crowd filled with people using pencils, books, nor are our audiences often the recipients of teachers’ dirty looks, we DO believe in education.

That is to say - educating our audiences that yes, it is possible for a bunch of full grown adults make a room full of other full grown adults laugh at fart jokes!
